I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Southern Nazarene University. I then earned my Master’s Degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Teaching from Regis University. I am currently working on my Educational Specialist Degree from Grand Canyon University and will complete this program in January of 2025. I have known since elementary school that I wanted to be a teacher. I love school and learning and want to share that love of learning with my students. This is my 17th year of teaching and my 8th year in DPS. Previously I taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 3rd Grade, and ECE-8th Grade Computer Technology.
I live with my husband, Kyle and our two children: 4-year-old Liam and 1-year-old Ellie. We enjoy exploring the many parks and playgrounds that Denver has to offer and going up to the mountains. I am an avid reader and enjoy baking.
