Colleges/Degrees: I have a BA in English and a MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Colorado.
Why I’m an Educator: I am a learner, and some of my best teachers are students. I work together with students to co-create spaces where everyone feels safe to be their authentic self, to take risks, and hopefully look back on their 5th grade educational experience as a humanizing one. I’m a proud public school teacher, and have been an educator for over 18 years, teaching and working with students in grades ECE-high school.
When I’m not at school: You can find me cooking and trying new recipes, singing soundtracks to Broadway musicals, and spending time with my husband, children and our two cats.
