Family:I have one amazing son and 2 crazy weiner dogs.
Colleges/Degrees: I am a graduate of Auburn University “WAR EAGLE” and University of Denver
Education career path (how long you’ve been a teacher/in education; how long in DPS): I have taught grades K, 1, 3, and 4. I have also coached teachers for grades K-5 for 10 years.
Most recently I served as a literacy interventionist and am excited to be joining the 1st grade team at Ellis!!
Hobbies/In my spare time:
When not watching my son play Ultimate Frisbee, I can be found in the Ellis Garden growing pumpkins for the kindergarten kids or cucumbers to make pickles!
Something you’d be surprised to know about me:
I grew up in Hawaii and I can do the hula. I have had Weiner dogs my whole entire life from the time I was 8 days old! See Malcolm and Wendell:)
