My name is Amelia Roche, and while at school I go by “Ms. Roche” (pronounced Rō-Shay). I have been teaching in DPS for 28 years. I have my BA in Political Science and Spanish, and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction in Multicultural Teacher Education; as well as endorsements in Elementary Education and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Student Education.
I strive to bring a sense of calm and belonging to the classroom so that the students can use their focus and energy learning, making friends, and developing the social-emotional skills that will continue to serve them well in the rest of their years.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, relaxing with a good book or movie, and eating out.
