Family: I live with my husband Garrett, two boys- Luca (14) and Thomas (11), and a sweet (girl) dog named Shiloh.
Colleges/Degrees: I have a Masters in Social Work from Smith College and an Undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s College.
Why I work in education: I work in education because I hope to play a significant role in addressing barriers to learning and provide support so that all students can achieve their potential in school and in life.
Education career path (how long you’ve been a teacher/in education; how long in DPS): This is my 3rd year in DPS and 2nd year at Ellis.
Hobbies/In my spare time: In my spare time, I love to enjoy the amazing Colorado outdoors. We downhill and cross country ski together as a family and I love to run, bike, swim and hike (with Shiloh!). On the weekends during soccer season, I am always sitting on the sidelines watching a game:)
Something you’d be surprised to know about me: I used to be an accountant! I have lived in Chicago, San Francisco, and Denver. I have an Italian family and am in the process of getting dual citizenship.
