This is my first year of teaching and I love every minute of it. I have always wanted to be a teacher and work with children, so this job is really a dream come true. I have very high expectations for my students because I know they can meet them. Ellis is a great school and I love working with the students at Ellis and learning as much as I can about their diverse cultures. I love learning and try to teach this love to my students as well. My favorite subjects to teach are writing and reading because I love to do both in my spare time, I even majored in English in college—literature is one of my passions. When I’m not teaching I enjoy being outside: riding my bike, running, hiking, and most importantly skiing.
