I am a First Grade ELA S/E teacher. I am a veteran Master Mentor teacher in DPS and have helped many teachers to became successful DPS teachers.
I love all children and enjoy working with a diversity of students and cultures. I am a very patient teacher but I set very high expectations for my students as well as for myself. I work very closely with parents for my students to succeed. I also do after school tutorials and like to transition my students into the English language.
Outside of school, I love to read, spend time with family and friends, and travel to see my family in South America.
