Ellis Elementary

Linda Miller Math/Science Facilitator 720-424-7716 linda_miller@dpsk12.org As a new person to Ellis, I am thrilled to be here this year.  I am currently in my 19th year of teaching with this being the 17th year in Denver Public Schools.  My first few years of teaching were in Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, D.C.  Over the years I have taught grades 2 – 5 and 7, as well as ESL resource classes, GT/Challenge classes and HGT math classes.              This year as Math/Science Facilitator, I will be working with teachers to implement the revised edition of the EveryDay Mathematics Curriculum.  In my role as Intervention Specialist, I will be coordinating interventions for the RtI model at Ellis.             On the weekends you can find me in the mountains skiing or biking or at home curled up with a good book like The Glass Castle  by Jeannette Walls.  I have a husband, two boys and a dog named Potter.
