This is my second year at Ellis Elementary and my first year as a
full-time music teacher. My goals for the students here is to have
each young person participate in a concert experience once during the
school year as well as enjoy the world of music in their lives. During
music class, we sing, dance, play instruments, listen and respond to
different types of music. Literature often inspires our lessons and
promote discussion about themes of history and the arts. Self
expression and creativity make music class a place where many students
want to come.
