Volunteer Opportunities:
PTA needs volunteers for the following school year activities:
1. Welcome Back-to-School
Breakfasts - help set up, serve and clean-up breakfasts for Ellis
families at the beginning of the school year
2. Pumpkin Carving Night - help set up, serve snacks and clean up for family activity one evening in October
3. Reading Is Fundamental
Book Distributions - help keep attendance records and organize books
for distribution (3 times per year)
4. Ellis Book Fair - help organize and sell books over 4 days and evenings in the Fall
5. Spring Fling Family Fun Dance - help set up, sell snacks, secure prizes and clean up for family dance one evening in April
6. Staff Appreciation Day - help prepare food, set up, serve breakfast and clean up one day in May
7. Field Day - help sell water bottles and t-shirts; pass out popsicles and run sport events one school day in May
8. International Day/Night - help however requested for one day/evening in May
9. 5th Grade Continuation - help decorate, serve cake and punch and clean up one evening in May
