II have been with Denver Public Schools for 9 years, working in several capacities – from paraprofessional to computer teacher to secretary. Being a secretary for Ellis is great!
I have a BA from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana and a MA from Purdue University. I have taught English at both Purdue and Metro State. I am married and have two daughters: one is an ’06 graduate of Denver School of the Arts (DSA) and a current student at Colorado State University and the other is a sophomore at DSA. I believe that DPS is working hard to provide the very best education for our students. Outside of school I love to walk, to read, and to hang out with my family on Mission Beach in San Diego! (Isn’t summer grand???)
I love working in the Ellis office, and I look forward to coming to school each morning. Ellis is a fabulous multi-cultural community!
