Ellis Elementary

Jill Serratos 2nd Grade Teacher 720-424-7745 jill_serratos@dpsk12.org This is my 12th year working for Denver Public Schools.  I began as a paraprofessional and went to the University of Northern Colorado through the Urban Education program in Denver.  I currently teach 2nd grade.    I am a bilingual teacher and usually work in an ELA-S classroom.  This means that my core instruction is in Spanish, as students transition into English.   I am married and have five children.  My oldest two are Ellis alumni.  My oldest child currently attends George Washington High School and my second child attends Hamilton Middle School.  The other three currently attend Ellis.   I love the Ellis community and would never want to work or send my children anywhere else!
